TIPS TO TURN BEING STUCK AT HOME INTO A VACATION
Did your vacation plans get postponed? Are you stuck at home like the majority of us? Here are some tips to assist you in breaking up some of that monotony and add some fun to your days. You are all in our thoughts and we hope you stay safe and healthy during this crazy time.

It’s all about how you think about it. We are all in this together, literally. If you focus on just the negative you are going to have a tough time navigating through the next few weeks. Remember all those things you wish you had time for?? Here is the time! It’s NOW! Hopefully, the tips below can spark some sunshine on these “cloudy days”.
Stay-CATION ON YOUR BALCONY OR DECK
It’s going to be a warm day today! Take the time to get out on your balcony or deck. Bring out a chair, your favorite tunes and a book and schedule at least 30 minutes or an hour or interrupted vacation time. If it’s not warm enough where you live, pretend you are in Aspen sitting by the fire.
2. BATHTUB SPA
Do you love spa vacations? Then relax in the bathtub at home! Perhaps you can find a bubble bath or a face mask hiding in your bathroom closet. Afterward, snuggle into your bathrobe and put your feet up.
3. TAKE A COOKING CLASS AT HOME
Think of your next trip. Where are you going? Do you want to try making one of their dishes right at home? Set the ambiance with music and decor if available and use your favorite tablet to stream cooking instructions. I’m sure a quick google search will give you various options for the style you are searching for.
4. SPIRITS TESTING AND CHEESE TASTING
We are fortunate to still have access to the supermarkets so make the best of it. Grab a few bottles of your favorite spirits and pick up new cheeses to taste. In this virtual age, you can schedule it in advance with friends and have a virtual sip and taste night.
5. LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE
Think of where you plan on visiting next. What language do they speak? There are several ways to learn a language for FREE online these days. Check out www.duolingo.com.
