That Time I Called Brandon… Brian (Yep, It Happened Live 😅)

Last night was one for the books—and not just because I called our special guest Brian instead of Brandon... live on social media. 🙈
Let’s rewind for a second. We hosted our Community Travel Night, where travel lovers, dreamers, and adventure-seekers gathered (virtually and in person!) for an evening filled with inspiration, connection, and a little bit of wanderlust. ✨

The highlight? A fabulous guest appearance from none other than Brandon from Explora Journeys—a brand that’s redefining what it means to explore the world in style and intention. Brandon gave us the inside scoop on everything Explora:🌊 Their uniquely designed journeys🏝️ The handpicked destinations🛳️ What makes their ships feel more like a boutique hotel on water than a traditional cruise💫 And the personal touches that make each guest feel like they’re part of something extra special
He had our attendees totally hooked—and by the end of the night, more than a few people were ready to start packing their bags!

And then… the moment.
In the excitement of going live, chatting with attendees, managing the tech, and generally trying to be fabulous... I introduced him as Brian. 😬
BUT—Brandon, being the absolute gem that he is, didn’t miss a beat. He laughed it off, carried on, and proved once again why he’s the perfect ambassador for such a thoughtful brand.
We’re owning the mix-up because, hey—these are the moments that make this community real, human, and fun. And if you've been to any of our events before, you know we’re all about keeping it authentic (and occasionally a little chaotic in the best way).
🎥 You can watch a quick 5-minute clip of Brandon sharing his favorite highlights about Explora right here:📺
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Travel Night, and an even bigger thank you to Brandon (not Brian 😉) for sharing your time, energy, and travel passion with our group.
Here’s to more magical nights, unforgettable destinations, and moments that remind us to laugh—even when we get the names wrong.
With love (and a side of humble pie), Maria LaDuca, The Agency Chic
